Owen County Industrial Development

The Owen County Industrial Authority works to encourage industrial and commercial development in Owen County.

Our park is fully served with water, sewer and natural gas.  Our water & sewer system is  managed and owned by Kentucky American Water, which is headquartered right here in the City of Owenton.   Our natural gas is owned by the City of Owenton and managed by Carrollton Utilities.   Electricity is provided by Kentucky Utilities, which offers some of the lowest electrical rates in the nation. 

The Authority's currently developed site is the Owen County Industrial Park, located on Hwy 127 North.  This site has one tenant at the present time and several tracts of land are still available at our Hwy. 127 location, as well as additional areas facing on Hwy. 127 North and KY Hwy. 35.  All of these sites are within short drives to I-75, I-71 and I-64.
