Education

Education is an important part of any community, and Owen County strives to provide top-notch programs for all citizens, from toddlers to adults.

Young people are able to attend the Owen County Public Schools (External Link - You are now leaving the .gov domain.) from preschool through high school. There are many programs to help youngsters get started, older children stay focused and teens graduate.

The county also offers several programs to help adults further their education, be it by earning a GED or attending college. The Owen County Public Library (External Link - You are now leaving the .gov domain.) offers many programs for children and adults.
