Parks & Recreation
Owen County offers a great deal of variety when it comes to sports and recreation. Residents enjoy the county's natural features by boating and fishing on the Kentucky River and its tributaries, as well as hunting and playing golf in Owen's rolling hills. The county boasts several sports teams, from Little League to high school to adults, and offers many other chances to get fit and have fun. Whether you enjoy working out in a gym or enjoying a lazy afternoon on the river fishing--Owen County has it all.
